11th Annual Empty Bowls

Tickets on sale NOW!

Empty Bowls is Plowshares’ signature event that takes place May 13th this year at 5:30 here at the Plowshares Dining Room, 1346 S. State. St.

Jan Hoyman Studios, Doug Browe and the Ceramics Club of Mendocino College, and Mendocino Inland Ceramic Association create bowls for guests to take home with them after enjoying a variety of homemade soups, salad, appetizers, breads and desserts.

We have an auction, Fund a Need auction, and raffle of great prizes donated by community members and businesses.

This event generates much needed funds for operating our Community Dining Room and Meals on Wheels programs. Costs are low for putting this event on because of the in kind donations and holding it in our dining room. We net 97% of the proceeds generated.

Buy tickets online from Brown Paper Tickets, click on the icon to the right, at Mendocino Book Company, or here at Plowshares, 1346 S. State St. Call 707-462-8582 for more information.
